Who's been messing around with Generative AI for stock images?
I've been playing a bit with midjourney lately and it's pretty mind-blowing.

Curious about your favorite AI tools and the process for creating quality stock images.

Also, current stock image trends? Any themes that are selling well lately?

I use Midjourney for over 2 years, since V4...
There are a lot of different AI tools today, and still Midjourney is by far the best one, I've tried them all.
It's not perfect, but getting better very fast...

Using Midjourney for stock is not a simple task, you should know this.
From my own statistics, I've generated ~100k images to select ~5k usable, that's a lot of eye strain, believe me.

To produce a sellable AI stock image, not only does it have to be something a user wants to buy, but it also has to be near perfect to get accepted first.
You have to photoshop all defects and artifacts on each one, adjust contrast, levels, tone, color grade etc...

But that's not enough in a very competitive stock photo world, you need SEO as well...
Keywords and title have to work together to get you search engine traffic and sales.

Trends are changing very fast, my opinion is that it's best to focus on recurring themes, you want to keep selling for a long time...
